I do not like it that CBS cancelled the series. As an individual, those dummies at the television networks are always cancelling shows I like. For example, I liked "Surface" on NBC last year. Gone.
Here is the problem. It is a highly democratic process. If a show has lots of viewers, it gets renewed. Fewer viewers, it says "goodbye." Sadly, there were not enough people such as you and me who watched "Jericho" faithfully.
CBS says it appreciates the enthusiasm. It is looking for ways to provide fans a "resolution" to the situation. We will see how that will work out. There are notable situations in which programs were cancelled, then brought back to life because of fan support. A good example is the original "Star Trek" series.
